Transient

Dedication to the art of hair design. An in-depth understanding of what works and what doesn't. An unwavering commitment to work with our clients to achieve the perfect look for them. These are the founding principles of Maral Salon.

We aren't huge, we are boutique, but we believe this intimate setting allows us to get to know you and your hair better. When you think about it, your hair is one of the first things people notice about you—and make judgements on. We want to make that first impression a positive one. We're passionate about it, because how you look reflects on us—almost all of our clients are referrals from other happy clients.

Margarita Tsopotos

Margarita discovered a love for all things creative early—with a special gift for working with hair. Even as a child she would create styles with her mother's hair, while her mother would tell stories of how she had always wanted to be a hairdresser, and of her grandfather who had been a barber. Following her natural talent, a family tradition and dreams she began to train in hair design, receiving her first award in hair school, only confirming her path. She began working for one of Canada's leading salons and has continued to garner many awards and praise, has trained in Canada, Italy and Spain, and has mentored and taught numerous students in the art of hair colour. What Margarita loves most about her job is how she can help people to feel more confident and good about themselves—which is the ultimate reward.
